Three wise mystical dogs bestow a quest

Hey, it's me again, the lunatic that left a TMI review on your Milkwalker™️ print. I got the two prints with the same order and while the Milkwalker is great, this one has to be my favorite. It's officially one of my most prized possessions and I almost can't wait to tidy up my apartment just so I can have people over and boast this marvel of design and also how great of a patron of the arts I am. My hallway will one day become an art gallery and these three, wise and mystical dogs are the first to decorate these bare, humble walls.

If I intended to have any children at all, this would become a family heirloom, but alas I don't like human spawn so I guess I'll instruct my dogs to pass this onto someone else in case they outlive me. However, for as long as my meat shell is bound to this existential plane, I shall take great care of this artifact of randomness and whimsy. That's why I framed it, tucked it in and made it real cozy.

Do I know what "eat sand" means? Well, maybe, I guess. There's this quote I found online that says "life is a beach and I'm eating the f***ing sand" and I just resonate with that statement on a profound, spiritual level.
Otherwise, do I know what it all means? Do I know whether there's any obscure references behind this print? No freaking clue, but this sure didn't stop me from making this purchase. And I would 10/10 do it again.

I freaking love these dogs, they look like they come from ancient times and are very wise and want to send me on a quest to defeat some eldritch horror that they could vanquish with the blink of an eye but they need to hold back so I can have my RPG protagonist moment. Maybe the sand is the eldritch horror, the big evil guy, maybe it's a metaphor for life and how we all have our fair share of sand-eating against our will from time to time, until we learn to chew it, or better yet spit it out, and move on.

Anyway BEHOLD, two pictures showcasing the print in all its glory. And please excuse the glare, the slightly visible piles of unfolded laundry lying on the floor behind me and the dog fur on the bed, but hey at least you know it's not AI.
